Since some years, the “Arringatore”, the top-of-the-range red wine (based on sangiovese) of the Goretti estate, obtained regularly prices, medals and favourable articles in the specialized press (2 “bicchieri” in the Gambero rosso and an  A+ quotation in the Belgian newspaper De Standaard). Now the grechetto seems to have been discovered too. This refreshing and aromatic white wine based on the vine of the same name has been particularly appreciated by the press recently.

“Light yellow colour with mineral notes and aromas of fresh pear. Full in the mouth, but the wine requires a little patience before it shows its subtle floral flavours.

 “Never heard about the grechetto? This is the wine in the mood in Umbria. The Goretti family exploits in the heart of Umbria a modern “cantina”. This vivid and delicate wine is still affordable: no surprise if the sales are increasing. Highly recommended!
