“Ideally situated, Château Tour Baladoz occupies one of the highest points in the region and offers visitors breathtaking panoramic views. On a clay-limestone soil resting upon bedrock, this vineyard produces an exceptionally generous wine — highly aromatic, supple, remarkably refined, full-bodied and perfectly balanced: a true ‘grand premier cru’ in every respect.”

Located at an altitude of 100 metres above sea level, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, Château Tour Baladoz is surrounded by prestigious Grands Crus Classés such as Château Troplong Mondot, Château Pavie, Château La Mondotte and Château Bellefont-Belcier.
The ultimate expression of the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion
A property steeped in history, an exceptional terroir, and complete mastery of the entire production process — from vineyard to bottling — are the foundations of the prestige and outstanding quality of the Grand Cru wines of Château Tour Baladoz.
As the pure expression of the terroir remains the absolute priority here, freshness and minerality are defining characteristics of the wines of Château Tour Baladoz. While 70% of the vineyard is located on the plateau, the remaining 30% lies on the slopes surrounding the valley, where the terroir is exceptionally rich and diverse. The soils range from pure limestone and marl — reminiscent of certain terroirs in Champagne — to tuffeau stone and an impressive variety of clay soils, including red clay, clay-limestone and even blue clay, evoking the famous terroir of Pétrus.
